  1. Not convinced by this article. More research is required.
    Many words indicated here are from the Giriama dialect;
    One good example is the word 'zhomu'. This word does not exist in Chonyi. We use 'vyenye'. For example; 'Vegbwa muhini vachilumira venye' for chonyi and 'Magbwa muhini makilumira zhomu' for Giriama to a phrase that translates to 'They fell from a tree and were badly injured' in English.

    Hawe, zere, vidjo,siswi, ogera and many other words do not exist in Chonyi language.

    1. thanks for your reply we shall change where necessary,words like hawe,zhomu are used by chonyi from kolongoni so you should consider that,thank you for your input though
